Our Next Meeting/Event:

LSBMDC 3 Day Draft Test- Nov 8-10,  2024

Pack your suitcases. Load up those draft carts.  Grab your dog/s. Head on over to the George Bush Park in Katy/Houston, Texas for the Lone Star Bernese Mountain Dog Club's 3 Day Draft Test event. Passing entries will get one of Wendi's famous shadow boxes. If you've never drafted with your dog, but would like to, come and observe/help out and see how much fun it is. It's a great way to learn. (We can always use help).

Great test site….flat terrain, covered pavilion for crating (no lugging a shade tent to this test), great weather, concrete parking right there, lots of area restaurants, etc. Denise McClure, our draft chairperson, was able to get sport dog photographer Tracy Patton to attend our event. Tracy will be there during the draft test on Saturday and Sunday to take action and still photos. This will be a great opportunity get pics of our fur babies in action or  just hanging out.  My Berner friends, please share this info with all of your Berner friends.
